Best Time to Visit Phek Nagaland
Phek like its neighbouring place of Kohima experiences hot and dry summers and pleasant to chilly winters. During monsoon, the rain pelts hard from time to time, and thus makes it difficult for visitors to enjoy sightseeing. Therefore, the best time to visit remains between November and March.
Summer
Phek experiences hot and dry summers, the temperature ranges between 20°C and 36°C in the months of March to June. It is generally accompanied by rainfall in the district.
Monsoon
Phek receives adequate rainfall during the months of July to October. The place becomes greener during these months. Therefore, it is ideal to visit Phek just after the monsoon to enjoy the lush green surroundings.
Winter
The month of November marks the onset of winter season in Phek. The temperature lies in the range of 5°C to 30°C. The winter season season lasts till February.
